I've been way too busy to get on my computer in the past week. I have a few pictures to share but once again I just haven't had the time to upload them so I'll get to that soon. Yesterday was my sister's birthday so we went to buffalo wild wings with her fiance and my parents and then when I got home I saw a short Arcade Fire concert on TeenNick which really made my day! This week I've mostly been getting ready for school which starts on the 9th. I guess I'm a bit excited to finally be a senior.

Rumors are circulating that Arcade Fire are playing in LA on October 7th so all purchases and plans which require spending are being put on hold for me until the rumors are confirmed or denied.
Anyway, this is my first time seeing this. Acoustic Sprawl II is almost as good as the original.
Yesterday was wonderful! I spent the first half with Kelly and Steven waiting and watching The Summer Set at Soundcheck in Hollywood. We waited since around 10 and were the first people in line, surprisingly it didn't get boring once. The guys/gal were very nice, joked around, experimented with the whole meet and greet experience since we were the first up, it was a bit awkward but only because of the soundcheck worker who constantly tried to hurry us up.
Either way I got to talk to John (the one in the pink I'm next to) which is exactly what I wanted to do.
The lighting in that store was deadly to my iphone camera, but with a little instagram they look a bit better.

This is me in the midst of cleaning my room, AIM-ing Karen and watching Beetejuice.
I took my senior portraits today, drove my mom's mercedes, got wonderful kosher chocolate Kadem tea biscuits (one thing I love about food 4 less is their selection of jewish snacks), played with my wonderful niece, and saw the movie trailer for a movie I've been waiting to be released for months, and saw the first act of "A Very Potter Musical" starring the ever so dreamy Darren Criss. I guess you could say that it was a wonderful day.

Every now and then I end up in LA for the day. Yesterday aside from getting the new Q Magazine with Arcade Fire on the cover, looking at a car, and going thrifting I ended up at Tim Burton's art exhibit at LACMA. It was so trippy. Burton has such a dark humorous mind. I wish there were more Sweeny Todd props and drawings than what there were, but there were quite a lot of Corpse Bride stuff which I enjoyed very much. His childhood drawings were also very interesting. There's really too many things to comment on without going into detail and making this a really long blog.

Starbucks also decided to start giving cake-pops in the cutest little boxes.
On friday after driving lessons all around the town next to mine I got out a bike from my shed and rode around the neighborhood listening to The Suburbs. I really never felt like such a suburban kid until that exact moment. That was a real highlight of my weekend to me, I don't know why but there was something so freeing about being on that bike. Even though I'm still sore from all the riding I did.

I've also become really obsessed with Darren Criss' voice lately. I'm not a Glee fan at all but I'm definitely a fan of Darren.
yesterday I had a mini-reunion with three of my friends who I've become distant from this past year. It was fun, we walked around, swam, and just has a good time. They kept saying how "different" I am now because I don't cuss as much or make perverted jokes like I used to. They kept saying I'm a different person. I never realized how really immature I used to be with all that cussing and foolishness I used to display. I' glad I've calmed down in the past year. Either way, aside from how foolish I used to be and constantly being reminded of it, it was a wonderful day and I'm glad I got to spend it with them.
The past 4 days have been so busy! I turned in applications to Aerie and Hollister and then from friday to saturday I spent painting my room. My heavy ikea furniture had to me moved, all of my posters had to be taken down, and everything had to be moved out. it was difficult but mostly fun! My walls are now a bright pale pink, my walls are nearly empty, and it's pretty much very "grown up" looking. Of course I'm going to put maybe 4 or 5 of my favorite posters up at some point but just not yet because I love the simplicity of it right now.

I really need to start taking pictures on things other than my iphone. I promise the pink is much lighter than what the picture shows.
and lastly many of the Arcade Fire communities recently discovered a performance from 2004 of the band. They look so nervous and awkward, it's a real treat to watch.
