Hello there readers! (if there are even any of you out there) I was rejected by the person I asked to prom today, WHICH SUCKS, but I'm having a pretty great day. My hair looked wonderful and I had a pretty great outfit. I had to go to the dentist and I got somewhat lost finding my way there since they moved buildings since my last visit, which was really funny, but I got there safely without being late! This post was stupid and really useless but I just thought I'd share my day with you :)

It's been a while

It's been quite some time since I've done a favorite finds post, so here are a few that I've found scattered across the internet in the past few days. Enjoy!

Malibami

This past friday I skipped school and went with the lovely Karen and Christine to Sycamore Canyon beach in Malibu. Since they were on spring break I ditched school to sleep in and then pick them up. It was a long drive, I got lost numerous times due to Karen's horrible navigation skills (I still love ya though, babe!) and Malibu is way bigger than I ever expected and because the beach is at the very end of the city it was a long twenty nine miles of curves and trying not to crash as we danced/sang along to Big Time Rush and One Direction. There was wind at the beach, which made it a bit chilly, but aside form that it was a perfect day for the beach. We jumped off the tree that One Direction did the same as in their What Makes You Beautiful music video, we ate cupcakes out of mason jars, drank absolutely great lemonade, and wonderful pasta. Some boys also hit on us which was really awkward, so naturally I did what I do best and pretended I was asleep to avoid talking to them as I lied on my towel. We did a lot of relaxing on the beach, I'm really surprised I didn't tan or burn considering i didn't wear any sunscreen.

After the beach we headed to Ameoba for the girls' first experience there. I wasn't planning on getting anything while there, but ended up with An Education on DVD and an Ed Sheeran imported CD for $3 courtesy of Karen. After that we headed back home, first dropping off Christine and then spending the rest of the night at Karen's. I spent a few hours of the night making a youtube video and then we fell asleep. On Saturday I stayed in town with Karen, we drove around, went to a park, ate at a really great bakery called 85 and did whatever we could to stay away from the internet as to avoid spoilers from One Direction's iCarly or SNL. When the time finally came we watched our boy's dominate American television and do a wonderful job at it. I'm so very proud of them and am glad to call myself one of their fans, all of this exposure they are getting is wonderful and they deserve it so much.

As of now (Sunday) I am finally home, too tired from driving all weekend that I haven't moved in six hours. I'm not exactly excited to be going back to school after my wonderful weekend, but I must. I have plans to take Ana to Hooters for the first time on tuesday and some quality time with Steven on friday, which I have to look forward to.

Kid's Choice Awards 2012

Okay, let's see, where do I begin to explain yesterday? Well, I guess I'll start from the beginning. I woke up at 9, got dressed in my favorite orange dress and headed to LA for my seatfiller call time at 1. I ended up getting there at 12:30 and there was already a line of people waiting to check in! After getting checked in a friend of mine Christine realized I was only three people away from her and her friends so I ended up hanging out with her friend Courtney after the group got spilt up. We stood in line for 2 hours before they finally took us across the street to the center where the award show was taking place. We got to sit in the very center of the seats where the celebrities were sitting and we had to hold their seats until they came to sit down. For about 10 minutes we got to see Will Smith go through his dress rehearsal and then when it was over we had to sit there for 2 hours. Well, after sitting there for 2 hours and having great conversations with the people around me the celebrities began coming in. During that time only a few celebrities were roaming or sitting around us, most of the iCarly cast, Al Roker (I think that's how it's spelled), the wizards of waverly place case, and idk his name but I know he's the son in The Big C. We didn't see many before our seats were moved and we were forced back to sit in the pit where all the seatfillers must wait. Once the show started, we still didn't see many celebrities in their seats, which really confused us because we knew where 1D was supposed to sit but they were only there for about 5 minutes before leaving, same with Nicki Minaj, Emma Stone, and Andrew Garfield. All of them sat in their seats for no more than 10 minutes before disappearing for the rest of the night so that was really odd. The only celebrities that stayed in their same seats were Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Michelle Obama, and Selena Gomez, which idk I find really weird considering that everyone else seemed to only sit in their seats for a few seconds of camera time and then disappearing. I guess that's just Hollywood. So, anyway, after we were back in the seatfiller pit we decided just to sit there because we had such good seats and there were so many seatfillers we didn't want to lose the seats we had by getting up to try and get seated by the celebrities, so we savored the free seats we got and watched the show from there. Katy Perry was risen above us for her performance for a good 5 minutes just holding the same position and saying hi to fans, which was really cool. But One Direction's performance was no doubt the greatest part of the night, they had colored balls just like that Arcade Fire did last year at Coachella (which brought me to tears because they copied my favorite band and dskfjalsdf it was wonderful), and they had us screaming the entire time. I screamed so loud and danced all around it was the best time of my life and it makes me really excited for the two 1D shows I'm going to in June.
One of the best parts of the night was when the lights would dim for the nominees to be announced and we got to see the celebrities interact when the cameras weren't on them. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were my favorite because they were so flirty with each other and at one point they were play flighting and he grabbed her boob so she pushed him away. My heart literally exploded because it was the cutest thing I had ever seen!
It really was such a wonderful night, I was literally in the presence of all my favorite celebrities, Katy Perry, Andrew Garfield, Shannon Woodward, 1D, Emma Stone, Big Time Rush (who were filming a music video in the crowd but completely avoided our entire side of the crowd dkfjkasdfladf) it was all so much fun to see them in person and that they're not just a picture on the internet. I was i were able to do this more, but with award season over and me moving to Chicago in a few months I guess it'll only be a one time thing - which I guess makes it that more special, and a great story to tell :3

I wasn't able to take my phone or any camera to get pictures of celebrities so I guess I'll just end this post with some orange carpet photos.

oh yeah and PS. no one is actually surprised by getting slimed because it says it's going to happen on the teleprompters.  My childhood died when I found that out.
